THE SWEDISH DIET PLAN & GUIDELINES & MENU !

The Swedish Diet is one of the most conspicuous diets in the world. The 13-day Swedish Diet is difficult, but very effective, experts say. It is emphasized that anyone who applies the Swedish diet can deliver between 7 and 20 pounds in two weeks.

The most important feature of the diet is that the person does not gain weight at all for “2 years” because it alters the metabolism completely. The American Heart Foundation recommends The Swedish Diet to the heart patients who need to lose weight immediately, but states that people over the age of 35 or people with health problems should not make The Swedish Diet.

There are some rules that people should take into consideration when making the Swedish diet. According to this diet, nutrients are divided into those that should not be eaten / eaten. For example, you should not drink tea, coffee or soft drinks. You should drink 2 liters of water a day and you should cut the diet on the 6th day.

Salt and sugar should not be used outside of the specified. Green salad should always be consumed with lemon and olive oil and the sample of foods not specified in the measure (salads with boiled spinach and fruit) should generally be calculated as a portion.

Rules of The Swedish Diet

  • Do not drink tea, coffee and soft drinks (with sugar),
  • For at least 2 liters of water per day,
  • Do not continue the diet for more than 13 days,
  • Leave the diet for a minimum of 6 days,
  • Do not repeat the diet in less than three months,
  • You can change your lunch and dinner on the same day.

The Swedish Diet Recommendations

  • If you can’t find broccoli, eat cauliflower,
  • If your cholesterol is high, eat the yolk of the egg,
  • If the diet is heavy, you can cut it on the 6th day and apply for 6 more days after 3 months.

Foods That Can be Eaten During the Diet;

  • Meat, chicken, turkey, fish and shellfish,
  • Organic eggs,
  • Vegetables growing on the soil; Cabbage, cauliflower, mushroom, cucumber, onion, pepper, tomato, broccoli, brussels sprouts, asparagus, pumpkin, eggplant, olives, spinach, lettuce, avocado etc.,
  • Natural dairy products; yogurt, butter, sour cream, cream cheese, whole-fat cheeses and so on,
  • Dried nuts; walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts, cashews (within limits) and so on,
  • Drinks; water (at least 2 liters), coffee and tea (without sweeteners – no sugar !),
  • Vegetable oils,
  • Some grains like oats and rye

You cannot eat more than twice a week, as it may slow down the weight loss process;

  • Beetroot, carrot and celery from vegetables,
  • Fruits due to sugar content, 
  • Chocolates,
  • Drinks like red or white wine, whiskey, brandy and vodka.

Foods That Should Not be Eaten During the Diet;

  • Sodas, sugary juices and beer,
  • Skimmed and normal milk as it may contain high amounts of milk sugar,
  • Refined oils and margarine,
  • Desserts; cakes, candies, cakes, chocolates, ice creams, granola bars, artificial sweeteners and sugary dairy products,
  • Muesli, bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, french fries, chips, porridge, legumes, legumes and lentils, because the content of carbohydrates is high.

13-Day The Swedish Diet Menu

Swedish Diet – Day 1: 
– Breakfast: Coffee (without sugar and without milk)
– Lunch: 2 pieces of boiled egg + boiled spinach
– Dinner: Grilled steak (200 grams) + green salad

Swedish Diet – Day 2: 
– Breakfast: Plain coffee + whole grain bread with butter
– Lunch: 200 grams of ham
– Dinner: 200 grams grilled lean steak, green salad (just made with lettuce and cucumber) and 1 piece of fruit

Swedish Diet – Day 3: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + 1 slice of buttered whole grain bread
– Lunch: 2 pieces of boiled eggs + tomato salad + green beans
– Dinner: 1 slice of ham and green salad (only cucumber and lettuce)

Swedish Diet – Day 4: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + 1 slice of toasted bread
– Lunch: Boiled or raw carrots with cheese
– Dinner: Fruit salad and plain yoghurt (natural)

Swedish Diet – Day 5: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + lemon carrots (cooked or raw)
– Lunch: Grilled white fish with raw tomatoes
– Dinner: Grilled steak (200 grams) + green salad

Swedish Diet – Day 6: 
– Breakfast: Plain coffee and 1 slice of buttered whole-grain bread
– Lunch: Grilled meat (150 grams) + fruit
– Dinner: 200 grams of skinless chicken + salad

Swedish Diet – Day 7: 
– Breakfast: Lemon tea without sugar
– Lunch: 200 grams of grilled meat and 1 fruit
– Dinner: Free meals

Swedish Diet – Day 8: 
– Breakfast: Plain coffee + 1 slice of cheese and tomato
– Lunch: 2 pieces of boiled egg + boiled spinach
– Dinner: Grilled steak (200 gram) + green salad

Swedish Diet – Day 9: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + 1 slice of buttered whole grain bread
– Lunch: Grilled meat (150 grams)  and green salad
– Dinner: 2 pieces of boiled eggs with carrots or tomatos

Swedish Diet – Day 10: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + 1 slice of buttered brown bread
– Lunch: 2 pieces of boiled eggs + tomato salad + green beans
– Dinner: Ham (100 grams) and green salad (only cucumbers and lettuce)

Swedish Diet – Day 11: 
– Breakfast: Coffee (without sugar and without milk)
– Lunch: Boiled or raw carrots with cheese
– Dinner: Fruit salad and plain yoghurt

Swedish Diet – Day 12: 
– Breakfast: Black coffee + 1 slice of buttered brown bread
– Lunch: Grilled skinless chicken (150 grams) with tomato 
– Dinner: 2 pieces of boiled eggs with carrots

Swedish Diet – Day 13: 
– Breakfast: Coffee (without sugar and without milk) + tomato
– Lunch: 2 pieces of boiled egg + boiled spinach
– Dinner: Skinless chicken (200 grams), and broccoli
